The Princess Bride - William Goldman

After plowing through the 12,000 plus pages of 'The Count' I was ready for some light reading and had needed to return all of my other library books. I went back to this old favorite for comfort during my casted-hand time. 'The Princess Bride' is a geat exception to books-turned-movie everywhere in that I love the movie just as much as the book (and I have not yet found anyone who hates either). It is now impossible for me to read the book without the score of the movie playing in my head, with Inigo and Fezzik's voices coming through loud and clear.

Note to self: stop reading the 'first chapter of Buttercup's Baby' portion of the book. It makes you angry and have urges to kick the author in the head.
